When the Lidatek LE30 acquires a laser gun or laser van, it immediately returns a five second signal, gives the driver a visual warning, and emits a 100dB audible alert in the vehicle.
For this time, the laser gun’s display will not produce a speed reading, leaving enough time for the driver to check, and if necessary adjust, vehicle speed safely.
After five seconds, the Lidatek LE30 laser diode shuts down, and the diffuser acts as a passive detector for the next 60 seconds while you clear the laser speed trap.
The Lidatek LE30 LaserEcho uses an indium gallium arsenide laser diode similar to the one used in laser guns. This laser diode transmits a powerful laser signal at the same wavelength the laser guns are designed to receive.
Due to the strength and timing of the Lidatek LE30’s signal, the laser gun ignores its reflections, and tries unsuccessfully to calculate the speed of the Lidatek LE30's signal.

What is the Lidatek LE30 Laser Transponder?
The LE-30 or LaserECHO is a new device that activley detects all incoming laser pulses emmitted from speed detection devices such as speed guns. Once it has detected an oncoming pulse the LE30 will respond via an LED visual or audio warning to the driver.
Each Lidatek LaserEcho LE30 Laser Diffuser system includes the following:

The Lidatek LE30 Laser Jammer system in action
With the exception of powering-up nothing will be heard from the Laser Echo system, and only a green LED will be visible under normal driving conditions.
When the system detects a laser pulse it will respond with a flashing red LED, in this alarm period the transponder will lock on and send a laser pulse to the offending speed gun, this will create a 5 second window in which to adjust your speed. After the five seconds of protection is up, the offending gun will be able to track your vehicles speed and range.
After an encounter the system will enter a recycle mode for 30 seconds, preventing furthur alarms while the systems transponder recovers.
At the end of the recycle mode the speaker will produce two beeps followed by a steady green LED, indicating that the system has re-entered standby mode.
