Laser Diffuser / Laser Jammer. The vast majority of the time police LIDAR is shot at approaching vehicles. Front targeting gives the officer more time to target the vehicle and allows him to simply pull out behind the vehicle as it passes by. Targeting from the rear is done, but is quite rare on average across the country. We recommend focusing your efforts on the front of the vehicle, as you can always add units to the rear later.
There is no sense in wasting money on a function you don’t need.
A Laser Diffuser acquires a laser gun or laser van, it immediately returns a five second signal, gives the driver a visual warning, and emits an audible alert in the vehicle.
For this time, the laser gun’s display will not produce a speed reading, leaving enough time for the driver to check, and if necessary adjust, vehicle speed safely.
After five seconds, the laser diode shuts down, and the diffuser acts as a passive detector for the next 60 seconds while you clear the laser speed trap.
